[YEP-DC] USGBC Green Schools Summit

On Saturday, October 13 from 8am-5:30pm the USGBC's National Capital Region and Maryland Chapters are co-hosting the Second Annual Green Schools Summit at American University. Registration info can be found here: http://usgbcncr.org/_news/221. The event is $75 for USGBC members, $100 for non-members, but only $10 for teachers and school personnel!     •  School district administration, principals, policy makers, and teachers

    • 6 concurrent sessions to choose from
    • Lunchtime panel featuring college/university sustainability directors from DC & MD
    • Keynote Speaker: Stephen Ritz- NYC Public Schools Educator, Founder of the Green Bronx Machine
    • Two school tours: Stoddard Elementary School & Sidwell Friends Middle School
    • Networking happy hour with drink specials
