Dear YEP-DC members, We’ve got three important announcements for you: 1. We’re on Facebook! 2. We’ve got new Leadership Team members! 3. We’re in the middle of our annual fundraising drive! Read on for more information. Hi Greater DC, Let’s Be Friends YEP-DC, the District of Columbia’s largest organization connecting tomorrow’s education leaders, is pleased to announce the re-launch of its Facebook page. With a strong presence on Twitter and LinkedIn, YEP-DC decided the time was right to revamp its Facebook status after a two-year hiatus. “Ultimately, we’ve tried hard not to pursue every social media fad just for the sake of it,” said Andre’ Wesson, YEP-DC Communications & Marketing Chair. “Our leadership team is truly committed to fostering a sense of community among the young education professionals. Whereas LinkedIn showcases our members’ professional accolades and accomplishments, Facebook will highlight our social interests and activities—allowing all of us to gain a better sense of community.” Keep up-to-date with all things YEP-DC through Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We look forward to continue building our membership and creating a community of well-informed leaders who will contribute to our country’s education system. Welcome New Leadership Team Members!
