Position Overview

The DCPS Office of Special Education (OSE) aspires to be the district of choice for students with disabilities. We are committed to serving our students with disabilities:

  • In the timely and consistent manner they deserve.

The Analyst, Medicaid is responsible for supporting and coordinating Medicaid recovery activities for DCPS, with the primary objective of developing OSE's capacity to successfully submit claims as a Medicaid provider of special education services and other school-based health services.

The Analyst, Medicaid reports to the Deputy Chief of Operations.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in public health or health policy.
Master's degree preferred, preferably with a major in public health or health policy.  
1-3 years work experience involving project management skills.
