Be the Change…Volunteer with Urban Alliance!
Urban Alliance empowers under-resourced youth to aspire, work and succeed through paid internships, formal training, and mentoring. Urban Alliance currently works with almost 200 students from 21 public and public charter schools across the District of Columbia. We are seeking volunteers to assist our Junior Business Program participants prepare for the SAT this February. All materials will be available but of course if you have any and want to share feel free to bring with you! Volunteers and students will meet the following Saturdays throughout the months of January and February at the Urban Alliance Office (January 17th and 31st, February 7th and 21st). Tutoring will take place from 11-1pm. If you are available one day or all of the days please send an email to cwright@theurbanalliance.org. All interested volunteers are expected to attend one of the mandatory volunteer meetings on Tuesday January 6th or Thursday January 8th.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to help assist our youth!
