[YEP-DC] Volunteer with Turning the Page this December

Volunteers Needed at Turning the Page's Community Nights!

 At Turning the Page, we link D.C. Public Schools, families and our community so that, together, we can ensure D.C. students receive valuable educational resources and a high-quality public education. We host Community Nights at 6 DC Public Schools that bring families from our schools together to receive valuable home learning materials, peer-to-peer networking, and partnerships with their children's teachers.

 We need your help with Child Mentoring at our Community Nights! As a child mentor, you will work with a group of students using a pre-planned set of curriculum and materials. The students are broken into grade level groups and the ages range from Pre-K to 5^th Grade. The time would be from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm and we can provide transportation from the metro if needed. Please contact us for more information about the shuttle.

 The times we need volunteers at our partner school in the upcoming weeks are as follows: 

            Thursday, December 4th at Garfield Elementary School from 5-8 pm

            Wednesday, December 10th at Savoy Elementary School from 5-8 pm

            Thursday, December 11th at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School from 5-8 pm
