Bluegrass Christmas Jamboree ~ Seven year old fiddle and vocal sensation, Clare Brown, will open the evening's festivities followed by a group of eight musicians selected from some of Lucketts' favorite bands with a special Christmas show - a full length concert performing the bluegrass favorites that audiences know and love. The show will be capped with a grand finale sing along. Marshall Wilborn, four time winner of the IBMA Award for Bass Player of the Year, will join the group again this year. Three of the musicians: Jay Armsworthy of Eastern Tradition, Tom Mindte of Patuxent Partners and Lynn Healey of Rockledge are lead singers of their own bands while most of the others also sing lead, harmony or both. Some members play more than one instrument adding flexibility to the group.Multi-instrumentalist, Keith Dill, with his fiddle; teacher and performer, Tara Linhardt, with her mandolin; Mark Clifton, with his dobro-guitar and John Brunschwyler with his banjo will all contribute their talents to the show.
