[YEP-DC] Job Posting: Coordinator, Teacher Effectiveness Strategy in DC Public Schools

In 2012, the Teacher Effectiveness Strategy (TES) team received a five-year, $62 million Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) Grant from the U.S. Department of Education, which funds rigorous, ongoing leadership development training for teacher-leaders and school leaders – including the launch of three new teacher-leadership programs across the district in 2013-14: The Teach Plus T3 Initiative, the Leading Educators Fellowship, and the Teacher Leadership Innovation (TLI) Pilot, an internal pilot designed and implemented by the TES team. The Coordinator, TES will support the Director, TES in all aspects of managing the TIF Grant. In addition to managing the TIF Grant, the Coordinator will support the TES team in the continued innovation and implementation of the teacher-leadership pilots listed above, as the initiatives are scaled across the district in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years.
