Business Analyst (BA)

We seek a talented Business Analyst to join the SchoolForce (www.schoolforce.com) team. SchoolForce is an exciting, new K-12 education technology product that was initially built in collaboration with charter schools in Washington, DC. The analyst will regularly interact with other members of the SchoolForce team (e..g, developers, testers, support) as well as SchoolForce customers (e.g., school system administrators). The analyst will help gather and analyze school requirements for new and existing SchoolForce functionality and support other members of the team with tasks, such as testing and supporting customers with cases. Because Acumen Solutions is a consulting firm, the analyst may work on other Acumen Solutions education and non-education projects as needed.

 

Work Location: Cleveland, Ohio or McLean, VA

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree 

- Previous internship/volunteer/work experience or coursework in K-12 education

- Technical aptitude (Understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies such as Salesforce.com a plus)

- Ability to learn new information quickly

- Work well in teams

- Ability to learn new information quickly 

- Excellent attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to problem solve and identify root cause analysis

- Flexibility

- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
