MAGNIFICENT !!! Not nearly strong enough a word to describe the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series performance last night by DONNA ULISSE & THE POOR MOUNTAIN BOYS. Not only is Donna a phenomenal singer/songwriter but she is a pretty darn good story teller too. And she has a band to be reckoned with too whose members are truly oustanding musicians and down right nice folks as well. The evening was filled with exquisite vocal harmonies and equally masterful work on fret and strings ranging from the soul searching ballad to the hard driving instrumental heart of bluegrass. It was a night to remember for sure. Many thanks to Donna and the guys for a tremendous show and to our loyal patrons for their continued support of the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series.
