Career Panel @ Williamsburg Middle School -
In partnership with Arlington Public Schools, Edu-Futuro (www.edu-futuro.org) has identified a need for a career panel for a group of 12 to 15 ESOL/HILT Latino youth at Wiliamsburg Middle School (3600 N Harrison St Arlington, VA 22207).
Edu-Futuro is recruiting 5 to 6 Latino male professionals who would be willing to participate in this career panel on Thursday, February 28th from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Lunch will be provided for the career panelists. The students who will be at the panel are in need of positive male role models. We would like to recruit Latinos in college and in the professional world who can share their college and professional journeys and show our students that by overcoming challenges their dreams came true.
We are willing to provide transportation from the Rosslyn metro for this event for those of you who do not have access to a car. If you are a former ESL student and had to learn English in a US school, we hope you sign up!
