This project has been coming together since the fall of 2010. A meeting or two occurred early on; one was actually out at the pumping station. The start date has slid back a bit from those early days, but the project is finally going forward. Bryant will be closed from 2nd to 4th for a good part of the construction period, and the construction will reach down 2nd to the 100 block of Adams and go down that block to Flagler. But the work will be done in stages. The G2 bus will also be rerouted away from Bryant and down to the 200 blocks of W. That project will cause disruption in the north end of the neighborhood for quite some time.

Are all of you who live in northwest Bloomingdale aware of the pumping station project?Sounds like Bryant Street will close very soon and will impact traffic through the area.If you live there, you probably know - I didn't know about it, but prob tuned out since it won't affect me.--
