[YEP-DC] Engingeering Education - Volunteer Opp/Connections Requested

A friend of mine just started a company - Ascendly - which teaches basic engineering and project skills to kids (currently K-4) to get them engaged and interested in engineering at an early age. The idea is that their early-fostered appreciation for science, technology, engineering, and math will allow them to succeed as future scientists, engineers, etc. 

The non-profit branch of this company is dedicated to providing these classes to students in DC who are more likely to be at risk of "getting lost" in math and science and are less likely to have access to programs such as these.

We're looking for people who:

- are interested in volunteering with the program

- can connect us to professors or student groups for engineering programs at local universities 

- can connect us to young professional groups in the area with an engineering, math, science, and/or technology focus
