[YEP-DC] Internships at PCSB

DC Public Charter School Board Internship Program

DC Public Charter School Board Internship Program is searching for high achieving college students and graduate students in Washington, DC who are interested in learning more about DC charter schools and are committed to the mission of providing quality public school options for DC students, families, and communities.  Depending on the student's interests, they have the opportunity to experience working in a variety of fields – data management and analysis, legal research, business operations, communications and social media, fundraising and development, human resources and organizational development, and education policy. Through their work with PCSB, interns will also gain a great deal of knowledge about the public education system in DC, the challenges it faces, and the charter school sector.  Learn more about PCSB  here.

About the Internship

The PCSB Internship Program is currently accepting applications from college juniors and seniors as well as students enrolled in graduate programs.

During the spring semester, interns are expected to contribute 15 hours/week of their time.  Exact days and times are determined in conjunction with the intern's manager.

In addition to working directly with our staff on engaging projects, interns benefit from a variety of professional development opportunities including participation in discussions on various topics in education, mentorships, and opportunities to network and learn about education policy by attending events in Washington, D.C.

We are happy to work with your school to satisfy any requirements for you to receive course credit. Internships are unpaid.
