Dear Community Partner;
I am writing to offer you and your youth an exciting new opportunity! SMYAL has developed a team of dedicated Peer Educators who are interested in speaking with your GSA or LGBTQ youth group about HIV/AIDS and STI prevention, safer sex and harm reduction methods. Peer Educators are trained to facilitate interactive and fun workshops on the following topics:
· HIV 101
· HIV Testing, Where, How and Why
· Talking to your Parnter(s) about Safer Sex
· Alcohol and Substance Abuse
· Condoms and Beyond
If you would like to schedule a workshop or if you have questions about the Peer Education Program please contact our Peer Education Coordinator, Dominique Parris by email dominique.parris@smyal.org or phone 202-567-3166.
