[dcab-l] Don't miss the giant Pickin Party!

The great DCBU festival might have gotten some of you in that festival mode. Make sure you put down on your calendars to come to the Loudoun Bluegrass Festival on Saturday, May 11th. It is good post festival strategy I find to look ahead to one's next party down event.
Individual contests, (NEW) Band Contests, Audie Blaylock and Redline, The Quebe Sisters Band, The Hot Seats, Barn Dance with Janine Smith Calling, Workshops, Led Jams for Old Time, Irish, and Bluegrass folks. Loads of space indoors and outdoors for creating and rocking the world with your own jams. Last year we had bluegrass, old time, and swing jams going all over the place. A shiny, brand new Eastman mando will be raffled as well as sweet Smithsonian Folkwasy CDs! Frank Cassel will be enaging the kids in Kid's shows. There is even beer and wine and BBQ and Pizza and stuff. All the making of a whopper pickin and grinnin kind of day!
All the profits go to local kid's scholarships too. All for just $15 in advance, so get on the website and get your tickets now!
Oh ya, since we are trying to get a bunch of all sorts of fun things squished into the day folks who are thinking of competing should register soon since there will be limited contestant spaces this year for individuals and bands. So go to the website and click on in there to register. Individual contestants get $5 back from their admission after they play. It only costs $15 to register and band and try for the prize money and showcase your band too.
Shoot y'all can't hardly afford not to go at those prices!
Please spread the word too!!
