Let's Talk About Sex: Communication Strategies, HIV/STI Basics, and Youth Resources

This professional development workshop will explore strategies and best practices for communicating to youth on sexual and reproductive health issues. Participants will learn the basics of HIV/STI prevention, tactics for engaging youth communities on sexual health, and resources and tools available for youth to protect their bodies. This workshop is designed specifically for teachers working with youth aged 13-24 years old.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Learn communication strategies and tactics to engage youth in honest conversations about sexual health
2. Understand how to use and promote the FC2 (female condom) and traditional condoms.
3. Articulate the basic information on HIV/STI prevention
4. Confidently provide referrals to youth for resources available in the District
