Curriculum Specialist

Job Goal:  To provide leadership and coordination with the ongoing development, implementation and management of the CAPCS curriculum

Performance Responsibilities

·         Facilitate the curriculum review process

·         Plan, facilitate, present and evaluate training that supports the aligned curriculum

·         Integrate campus specific foci within the instructional programs

·         Provide training and technical assistance to Instructional Coaches and Academy Leaders in the development and maintenance of standards based curriculum and delivery of staff professional learning

·         Collaborate with Special Education and Bilingual/ELL Specialists to develop differentiated instructional materials for all learners

·         Ensure vertical curriculum alignment between the early childhood, elementary and middle school content areas

·         Assist in the development of teacher and student resources that utilize research based instructional practices

·         Select and modify existing instructional materials as well as develop new instructional materials  such as, but not limited to:  training guides and tool kits

Qualifications

Master's degree in Education Administration or related area

3-5 years School Leadership experience
