Job Opportunity: Director of Programs & Operations, City Kids Wilderness Project

City Kids Wilderness Project is currently recruiting a full-time Director of Programs & Operations. The Director of Programs & Operations is responsible for implementation and management of daily operations and programming for City Kids Wilderness Project.  Key responsibilities include supervising program staff, providing leadership and management for all City Kids programs including our outdoor adventure, afterschool, summer camp and internship and transition programs, providing operational leadership, and supporting our fundraising and development efforts. This position is based in DC during the school year, and at our summer camp in Jackson, WY for the summer. Successful applicants will have a personal commitment to and deep understanding of City Kids' mission, as well as experience and passion for working with underserved urban youth. 

Organization Overview: City Kids Wilderness Project (City Kids) is a nonprofit educational organization founded (1996) on the belief that providing enriching life experiences for underserved and at-risk children and youth can enhance their lives, the lives of their families and the greater community. We offer extraordinary wilderness and community-based experiences intended to embolden and empower young men and women. Our programs are offered at no cost to eligible children and teens living in metropolitan Washington, D.C. Programs take place throughout the year in and around Washington, D.C. and during the summer at our ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
