DC School Reform Now to Host Webinar on School Quality for National School Choice Week
DCSRN will host a webinar to inform parents about the characteristics of school quality
WASHINGTON, DC—DC School Reform Now has been invited by National School Choice Week 2013 to host a webinar that will inform parents and education stakeholders at large about the characteristics of school quality. The webinar, "Choosing Quality: What is a High Quality School, Principal and Teacher?" will showcase DCSRN's research-based and parent-friendly tools and resources.
"When parents are making decisions about their child's next school, many parents that we work with frequently ask us how to define school quality," said David Pickens, DCSRN Executive Director. "We created these tools and resources to help address this issue."
The webinar will also include a viewing of one of DC School Reform Now's Virtual School Tours, which provide parents with greater access to make important comparisons about school quality. Additionally, the webinar will be followed by a live Q&A with DCSRN Executive Director David Pickens. The webinar is free, open to the public and will take place on Thursday, January 31 at 2:30pm. Click here to register.
The event is open to the media.
