Kid Power is a nonprofit organization that provides afterschool programs for students in under resourced neighborhoods in DC. They focus on citizenship through service learning projects and health & nutrition through gardening & cooking. Tonight they are hosting a happy hour to raise money for their Veggie Time program (gardening and cooking) for 300+ students. If you're going out to HH tonight, why not support a great cause?!
When: Thursday Jan. 24
Time: 5:30pm-8:30pm
Place: Duffy's Irish Pub (2106 Vermont Ave NW) near the U Street Metro Station
cost: $10 for drink specials, food specials and raffle ticket (can win gift cards to local restaurants)
