Hello! My name is Megan Fitzmaurice, and I work with Generation Hope, an organization dedicated to helping teen parents become college graduates. One way we support them is by providing free tutoring services. Right now, we have a pressing need for a beginner level statistics tutor in the College Park or Kensington/Wheaton area! If you're looking for a fun, low-key, low-commitment volunteer opportunity starting this Fall, this would be an awesome opportunity for you! Our tutors generally meet up with scholars just one hour a week at a coffee shop or library. It would only be a one semester commitment (but we wouldn't stop you from coming back!!).
Not only would you be helping this teen parent, but by helping him or her achieve a degree, you'll be helping his or her young family as well!! If you might be interested, please send me an email at: megan@supportgenerationhope.org.
Moreover, check out our website to learn more about our organization: www.supportgenerationhope.org.
