Scott Seidel steps up with a jam date at his house just east of Centreville!

Forwarded herewith (lawyer speak) is a response email from Scott Seidel regarding a jam he will host on Saturday, October 4.  Please look at his email which I am forwarding to you. The info is all there. This is a RAIN or SHINE event at 2:00 p.m. for a slow jam and 3:00 for the egomaniacs (referring to banjo players, of course).

You will remember Scott as the fiddle player who has frequented the Bluegrass Club meetings (in spite of the distance he has to travel) as a very helpful coach and fill-in AND who played such great banjo in the Steve Potter/Mel Peters/Scott Seidel performances at Bluegrass ii's "open mic" and at the Hylton event.

So . . . mark the calendar! This event is only about 11 days away on Saturday the 4th!

Now go out on the porch and pick to warm up for this one!!!

If you're fine with it, I'd like to call it the Bull Run jam for continuity reasons. We should keep the times the same as "regular". If I recall correctly, this is 2 PM for slow jam and 3 PM for regular -- Saturday, October 4, rain or shine. I will have some chairs, but people are free to bring their own. I plan to put some water bottles on ice, but people are free to bring snacks. 

House is first house on the right on the pipestem at end of cul-de-sac. Please park on the street, not the pipestem and walk up.

Though it's not quite the Bull Run area, I would like to hold a jam and invite folks from that direction including the Bluegrass Club. If you would prefer not to call it the Bull Run jam session, but just an invite, that's fine too.

I plan to set up my canopies for outdoor pickin' -- rain or shine. Let me know if you would like to pursue this.
