[YEP-DC] Digital Learning Internship (PAID)

Alliance for Excellent Education - Center for Digital Learning Intern

Organization Overview

The Alliance for Excellent Education (the Alliance) is a Washington, DC–based national policy and advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring that all students, particularly those who are traditionally underserved, graduate from high school ready for success in college, work, and citizenship. The Alliance works to encourage the development and implementation of federal and national policies that support effective high school reform and increased student achievement and attainment. It works to synthesize and distribute research and information about promising practices that enlightens the national debate about education policies and options.

As a division of the Alliance, the Center for Digital Learning Policy (the Center) advances an ambitious agenda for national, federal, state, and district policy reform efforts relating to the effective use of technology in K–12 public schools. The Center is a strong proponent of supporting teachers, school leaders, districts, and states as they navigate the shift to more robust, digital learning environments. It also seeks to connect the use of digital learning to the Alliance's major policy areas that include deeper learning, linked learning, teacher effectiveness, Common Core State Standards, and assessment/accountability. The work of the Center includes the development of resources, publications, policy briefs, webinars, advocacy events, and case studies highlighting promising practices for digital learning.
