The DC Public Charter School Board (PCSB) is setting a national model for creating quality public school options that is leading the transformation of public education in Washington, DC. As the city's independent charter authorizer, PCSB approves new charter applications, closes poor-performing schools and conducts effective oversight of charter school performance through its Performance Management Framework and other tools. More than 35,000 students attend DC charter schools, roughly 43% of the DC public school population. PCSB currently oversees 57 public charter schools on 102 campuses across the city. Communications Associate, Content and Web Producer
The Associate Content and Web Producer is PCSB's main content strategist, responsible for the planning and execution of PCSB's multi-faceted content on public platforms. The Associate Content and Web Producer has the primary responsibility of steering PCSB's three strands of content: editorial; website and related online and multimedia/social media. The Associate Content and Web Producer works seamlessly with the Communications department, staff academic experts and other internal departments, the executive director, DC charter schools and others to meet the job's goals.

Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst is an integral part of both PCBS's internal operations as well as its oversight responsibilities for DC public charter schools. The financial analyst is responsible for the preparation and analysis of PCSB's budget of $5 million as well as the analysis and reporting on the budgets and audits of the 61 charter schools overseen by PCSB, whose total budgets exceed $700 million.
Looking for excel ninjas with accounting or finance experience. Familiarity with charter schools is a huge plus. The full job description can be found here.
