The National Urban League would like to invite you to the release of our study, "Connecting the Dots: Linking Broadband Adoption to Job Creation and Job Competitiveness." The study shows how broadband adoption can be used to drive job creation and job competitiveness of African Americans and others hardest hit by unemployment. However, the current education pipeline does not prepare students to take advantage of these opportunities. As part of the solution, this study recommends strong and innovative STEM education programs to increase student interest and skill in these areas.
Join National Urban League President and CEO Marc Morial, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski and other esteemed panel members as we discuss these findings. Refreshments will be served.
