Hi, folks - Tomorrow (4/7) at 10:30 AM Banjo Man Frank Cassel and friends are having a big family show at Jammin' Java. This is for older kids and family members that do not usually get to see my Friday show there, which is mostly for young children. (I forgot to put this on the Calendar).
There will be a tribute to Earl Scruggs near the end of the show. Like so many others, I learned much of what I know about playing the banjo from Earl Scruggs.
Besides the Banjo Man, Barney Thompson will play guitar and harmonica. Chris Colvin will bring his mountain lap dulcimer. Other elements of the show will include Chris' digeridoo, and hoop dancing by Shapeshifter Shannon Bishop. She likes to dance to fast bluegrass music. Perhaps you do, too. Come on out and join us. This new, bigger show is a lot of fun for everyone. Admission is $10. www.jamminjava.com Happy Easter and Passover (and full moon tonight). Best Wishes, Frank Cassel
