[YEP-DC] Reggio Emilia Teaching Positions Available at Community Academy SY 12-13

The Dorothy I. Height Community Academy Public Charter School (CAPCS) serves children from preschool through 8th grade on five physical campuses and one virtual campus. We have made a commitment to excellence and the expectation of excellence informs all that we do. We offer an academically challenging program rooted in an ethical culture that promotes intellectual curiosity and social and civic responsibility.

The Reggio Emilia Approach:
Reggio is a philosophy of teaching and learning that values the capabilities of young children and nurtures the power of thinking.  This rigorous approach provides a dynamic experience which encourages children to explore, create, collaborate, and construct meaning in their world. Learning is supported through the relationships between children, instructors, family and the environment.  Children cultivate an endless means of self-expression, creating a strong framework for future growth and development to prepare them for infinite opportunities.

CAPCS is currently recruiting for teachers for SY 12-13 at our Amos 2 campus on 33 Riggs Road.

To find out more information please refer to the attached flyer.  Application deadline is May 3, 2012, 5pm.
