O.U.T.L.E.T | Opening Up To Let Everyone Thrive will be hosting its 1st Annual Thriving Scholars Benefit at the Anacostia Art Gallery & Boutique on April 29, 2012 from 5:00-8:00pm.
This year's theme: "OPEN FOR BUSINESS" serves as a proclamation of our commitment and dedication to the nation's youth as the only youth empowerment organization that runs programs and campaigns led by youth and for the at-risk youth population. A major component of O.U.T.L.E.T is the Thriving Scholars Awards. Every Spring, deserving graduating seniors apply for one of O.U.T.L.E.T's competitive $1,000 scholarships to be awarded the following Fall. This is all possible through partnerships with communities, council members and legislators, major corporations and sponsors, sports figures, musicians, artists, as well as philanthropic and individual giving.
Please come to enjoy a night of celebration filled with moments of laughter, smiles, feel good hugs, gifts, live painting, music and most importantly GIVING.
