On June 23, 2012, YEP-DC will be hosting its inaugural Policy-to-Practice Conference, designed to help young education professionals throughout the greater Washington, DC area explore ways to better connect, coordinate, and leverage the research, policy, and practice of education.

The goal of this conference is to foster collaborative, cross-sector problem solving to help break down the divide between education policy and practice – and as a result, lead to better outcomes for children.

Your voices and perspectives are invaluable to the success of this conference. Not only will we be calling upon you, YEP-DC members, to facilitate some of the "rapid-fire" breakout sessions, we also want to make sure the sessions are tailored to your interests.
