Who says getting an education is boring?  Certainly not the folks who attended Bill Evans "The Banjo in America: 250 Years of American Music performance at the Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series on Sunday afternoon.  "Professor Bill" took everybody through a history of the banjo from its roots in West Africa to its current iteration.  This was done through true historical data, funny anecdotes and plenty of music played on vintage instruments.  The afternoon passed by too quickly and everyone had a great time, learned something knew, heard some great music and enjoyed chatting with Bill.  Next time school is back in session I'll be the first in line for an "add" card - showing my age here - lol.  Many thanks to Bill for a lot of fun and music and to our patrons for their support.
