Please attend an event on "The Historical Relevance of Education Equity Policies in an Obama Era" at George Mason University Fairfax campus on October 22 at 4:30 pm.  The guest speaker is Dr. James Anderson, the Edward William and Jane Marr Gutsgell Professor of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership at University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. He has examined the various interpretations and implementations of Brown v. Board, and his scholarship focuses broadly on the history of African American education in the South and the history of both K-12 and higher education desegregation.
