Received very sad news today from Jean Auldridge’s daughter, Judy Fender, that Jean passed away Friday, Oct 10 from complications of several ailments. Jean was the widow of Dave Auldridge, Mike Auldridge’s brother. Dave was an original member of the Seldom Scene as well as a member of Cliff Waldron and the New Shades of Grass. Jean was a huge supporter of Bluegrass and will be sorely missed by all.
Memorial services are to be held at St Marks Church, Alexandria, VA this coming Friday between 11:00am and noon. Keep a lookout for the exact time in the Washington Post obituaries.
