[YEP-DC] Volunteers Wanted at Moten Elementary: Classroom Readers!

Good morning YEP members,

Communities in Schools is coordinating fall-themed storytime at Moten Elementary on Friday, October 31 from 8:45-10:30. Volunteers will each read to several PK-2nd grade classrooms from 9:00-10:30. Afterwards, volunteers are free to participate in the school's Fall Literacy Parade, where students and faculty dress up as their favorite literacy characters and parade around the school!

Books can be provided to volunteers, and limited parking is available in the school parking lot. Arrangements can be made for shorter time commitments. Costumes are optional!

Moten Elementary is located at 1565 Morris Rd. SE, Washington, DC, 20020.
