[YEP-DC] YEP-DC: Service Event @ Air & Space Museum Nov. 2nd

We are seeking 10 volunteers to participate at the Smithsonian Innovation Festival on Sunday November 2, 9:00am-1:30pm (You must be able to stay the entire time). This exciting festival is being held at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and celebrates the accomplishments of American inventors and the spirit of innovation that has led to so many of today's technologies. More details can be found here: http://airandspace.si.edu/events/detail.cfm?id=11860The museum is located at 600 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20560; the closest metro is L'Enfant Plaza. 

Tentative volunteer duties (SUBJECT TO CHANGE- the event is still in the planning stages):
Gophers – getting supplies or materials as the speakers and presenters need them, lots of moving around, you will be "on the go"
Flyer Distribution/Barkers – help make sure chairs are set up in various spaces, announce upcoming talks/mini-events of the day, pass out schedules
Volunteer Registration – Arrive early (morning shift), give information to other volunteers, send them to the right place for orientation.
