[YEP-DC] Volunteers Needed: Resume Workshop November 13

Good afternoon,

I am writing from the Public Leadership Education Network (PLEN), the only national nonprofit with the sole focus of preparing college women for leadership roles in the policy arena.

This November 13 - 15 we are hosting our Women, Law & Legal Advocacy Seminar which is geared towards college women considering careers in law and policy. The seminar will focus on career opportunities and professional skills needed to succeed in any career.

As part of the Seminar, we are hosting a Resume Writing Workshop on Thursday, November 13 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm and I am looking for volunteers. The workshop will be a breakout session in which we all will divide into smaller groups. Each volunteer will be paired with approximately 5 participants and will work one-on-one offering resume advice/critique while the other participants peer edit until it is their turn for one-on-one advice. This is a great opportunity to offer mentorship without a big time commitment.
