Position Summary
 

Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) seeks a bright, self-starting administrative intern to support our Washington, DC  Regional Director. S/he will serve on LEE's Regional Strategy Team, which works in communities across the nation to grow the leadership of our members and help build the movement for educational equity. 

Reporting to both the DC Regional Director, the successful candidate will work part-time and carry out a variety of tasks in support of LEE's DC Regional Director, including – but not limited to – data management and analysis, event planning and regional communications.

Duration: This is a ~25 hour a week, 12 month appointment, beginning immediately.
 

 

Responsibilities

  • Executing administrative tasks on behalf of the Regional Director Tasks may include(90% of your time): 
  • Updating Leadership for Educational Equity's data management system 
  • Supporting the Regional Director with regional communications 
  • Assisting the Regional Director with event scheduling and support 
  • Growth opportunities to support the Regional Director with regional research (10% of your time)
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Director 

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Deep alignment and understanding of LEE's mission and core values

Salary:
 

Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience.
