Talent exists throughout the world yet opportunity does not. It is this idea that inspired the creation of Atlas Corps in 2006. Now, Atlas Corps is a network of 316 Fellows from 62 countries who have served at more than 130 Host Organizations.
Recently, President Obama announced the Emerging Global Leaders Initiative-Atlas Corps Fellowship - a partnership between Atlas Corps and the U.S. Department of State to forward the Stand with Civil Society Agenda. Professional exchange is proving a valuable tool in the advancement of civil society development and improved international development throughout the world. By connecting talented international professionals to opportunity, we are multiplying the effectiveness of development on a global scale. Join Atlas Corps and other leaders in the field for a vibrant discussion on how professional exchange is impacting civil society and international development on a global scale. This event is also held in conjunction with the International Diaspora Engagement Alliance Global Diaspora Week.
