Re: [dcab-l] Band Competition
I am happy with these rules:
Performance: 2 songs per band (one vocal and one instrumental), with a total stage time of 10 minutes (including set-up). Time limit is subject to change depending on the number of entries. Sound: Sound equipment will be provided. With the exception of bass amps (see Instruments), bands must use the sound equipment provided. Bands cannot bring their own sound engineer. Larger bands may have to share mics. Instruments: Traditional bluegrass instrumentation encouraged. With exception of electric and stand-up bass, no electric instruments or pickups may be used. Bands using a bass amp must bring their own amp. Drum kits and keyboards cannot be accommodated.
