The Advocates Council of Thurgood Marshall Academy PCHS invite you to join them for a fun networking event to serve the greater good.  

Let's Have a Ball!: A Benefit for Thurgood Marshall Academy

Thurgood Marshall Academy serves nearly 400 students annually, over 90% of whom live in Wards 7 and 8, communities with the most poverty and fewest resources in the District of Columbia. The mission of the school is to prepare students to succeed in college and actively engaged in society, and the mission of the Advocates' Council is to engage and mobilize resources to advance the mission of the school. All proceeds from this event will go directly toward Thurgood Marshall Academy's programming.

            Annually, 100% of the students have been accepted to college, some to Ivry League schools. Alumni are graduating college at rates five times higher than their neighborhood peers, truly fulfilling the school's mission and changing their communities. Across all college pathway metrics, Thurgood Marshall Academy students are outperforming national and local outcomes.
