Last night (Nov. 8) in Grand Cayman, there was a celebration of "Daniel Pearl World Music Days" with a concert. Apparently this is a worldwide thing.

Does anyone know if there was a similar celebration in the DC area? I remember reading comments from people who jammed with him when he lived in DC. I see an opportunity for the bluegrass community to step up and participate in something positive that's bigger than bluegrass. Any ideas?
