[YEP-DC] please support DC students learning civil rights history!

For the past two years, students from E.L. Haynes High School have traveled through civil rights landmarks in the South to learn about the history of the Civil Rights Movement.  During our travels through Greensboro, Atlanta, Montgomery, Tuskegee, Selma, and Birmingham, students have been inspired by stories of historical freedom fighters to take action against injustice they see around them today.  This year, our trip is eligible for a $2,500 grant but we need your vote!  Please follow these directions to cast your vote of support and help E.L. Haynes students continue to learn about the history of the movement and its importance today.  You can vote daily until the end of the month.

(1) Go to this link and search for a proposal by last name (Moorman)

(2) Enter your email and check that you are over 18

(3) Click the red "Vote" button by "Tracing the Movement" - if the trip didn't come up, search again, or search by city

(4) Go to your email and verify your vote

(5) Please spread the word to anyone you know who may want to support our trip as well

Thank you!
