Hi Rob and Pat,
Could you do me a favor and send this announcement out to your music lists? I should have sent it sooner but I always seem to be a day late and a dollar short :>)

Folks may not recognize the name, but they will recognize the faces and this is one of my all-time favorite groups. You will LOVE them I promise.
Sunday Nov 2 7:00  Frying Pan Park Farm Barn 2709 West ox Rd Herndon , VA

East of Monroe is proud to be performing at the Frying Pan Farm Park Equestrian Center Bluegrass Barn!!
ADVANCE TICKETS RECOMMENDED!!
More about the band:
An intersection of musical genres with roots in traditional bluegrass, East of Monroe's music explores swing, country, folk, pop, jazz, and bluegrass within tasteful arrangements of contemporary and traditional songs as well as original compositions. Deep experience and tight vocal harmony- together with fresh original songwriting- combine to offer a brand new and unique sound on the American acoustic music scene. Band members include Jackie Frost, Richard Ward, Billy Budd, Gary Ferguson, Lisa Kay Howard, and Wally Hughes. Take a listen at http://www.reverbnation.com/eastofmonroe

Some background for those who may not have heard of this great group...
EoM began when my husband Dave Giegerich and several of his former band mates, Richard Ward, Billy Bud and Gary Ferguson, began playing together, along with two great Richmond singer/songwriters, Emily Timberlake and Jackie Frost. Dave's illness and Emily's marriage and subsequent move to the west coast put them on hiatus for a bit. When the remaining band members agreed to play for my open house when i made the big move to Fredericksburg, they met Lisa Kay Howard and Wally Hughes and it just clicked ( I will confess to nurturing the relationship with chocolate chip cookies and offering a free place to practice that just happened to be centrally located between all parties (Richard and jackie are in Richmond, Gary in alexandria, Billy in Urbanna and Wally and Lisa in Round Hill, VA). Not only did I long to have a dobro return to the group, but something about the way they traded licks and harmonies gave me goose bumps... And as you all know I am pretty particular about my music :>)  but enough said, don't take my word for it; come see for yourself... Tomorrow (Sunday) night at Frying Pan Park in the barn!
