Just the messenger...
-- National Education Week kicks off on Monday with a FREE event celebrating K-12 educators. From 11 am - 3 pm on November 10th at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004), we'll focus on 21st century learning. This event will feature:
--
• Powerful, results-oriented content from Johns Hopkins University, the Department of Education, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and more
• A focus on 21st century learning, including how neuroscience can enhance student achievement
• An opening speech by Katherine Bradley, President of the CityBridge Foundation, on its work to transform children's lives via education
• We'll be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to one of the attendees, to be used toward transforming a classroom into a 21st century learning environment
I hope that you'll join us, and also feel free to spread the word to your co-workers, colleagues, and friends about this great event--it could change the way they think about education.
In addition to the content, the event includes lunch and a cocktail reception--both at no charge. For additional information and to register, click here Celebrating Educators
