[YEP-DC] Volunteer Opportunity: Volunteers Needed for Literacy Non-profit Annual Gala

I hope this email finds you well.  I am coordinating volunteers for Everybody Wins! DC (EW!DC), a local children’s mentoring and literacy non-profit.  We (EW!DC) will be holding our 19^th Annual Gala Celebration on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at The Capital Hilton (16^th and K Streets, NW) and are writing to request your assistance to recruit volunteers

 

The EW!DC Gala celebrates youth literacy and the children, mentors and corporate partners that are part of our programs. It is our biggest fundraising event of the year and we hope to attract more than 400 community leaders to the event. We will need our volunteers to assist with tasks such as registration, greeting guests, a silent auction and more. Volunteers will be needed between the hours of 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm, so food and drink will be provided.

 

EW!DC is the largest children’s literacy and mentoring organization in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
