[YEP-DC] Science Fair Judges needed for Center City PCS Annual District Wide Fair

Do you have a background in life, earth, chemical, biological, or physical sciences? Do you love science? Do you love kids? Do you remember making your first volcano, pulley, or dry ice? Do you remember sending off your first rocket or doing your first egg drop? If so, come be a science fair judge!

 

Center City Public Charter Schools has six campuses throughout DC (Brightwood, Capitol Hill, Congress Heights, Petworth, Shaw, and Trinidad). Our PreK – 8^th grade students have been working extremely hard to prepare for our annual Science Fair and we need help identifying our top projects in 3^rd through 8^th grades (PreK-2^nd grades are a whole class project with a gallery walk but are not judged).

Saturday, March 8th, 2014

9am to 1 pm

Center City PCS - Petworth Campus

510 Webster St NW Washington, DC 20011

 

Judges will be asked to arrive at 8:45am. We will provide breakfast, rubrics (w/ clipboards and writing utensils), and AWESOME science fair projects.  

 

**Note: Due to the nature of the event, a degree or job in a science related field is required.  Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in serving some of the city's COOLEST and SMARTEST young scientists.
