[YEP-DC] Training: DC Elementary School Teachers Energy Education Training on 5/2

Please join us for a hands-on interactive training on how to introduce energy concepts into your elementary school classroom.

Details are below and in the attached flyer. Space is limited for up to 30 teachers who RSVP prior to April 18, 2014.

Are you an elementary school teacher looking for creative ideas to introduce energy curriculum to your students?

What: The training session will introduce educators to the seven basic principles of energy, demonstrated by a hands-on interactive project that can be used in the classroom.

When: Friday, May 2, 2014 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m.
Where: U.S. Department of Energy Headquarters

Why: Teaching students basic energy principles at a young age will help create a clean energy economy.
