[YEP-DC] YEP-DC Blogger Opening: Get published on YEP-DC's blog, Recess!

Want to improve your writing, get published, and add another skill to your résumé? Join YEP-DC's team of Recess bloggers!

We're looking for a blogger who will specifically cover YEP-DC events and occasionally, DC education events and news. Ideally, this blogger is interested in the DC education scene, keeps tabs on trending education news, and can commit to attending YEP-DC panel events (which are generally held every other month). During other months, this blogger writes about a local DC education event or other education news happening locally; the subjects of these posts will largely be left to the blogger's discretion and interest. 

In exchange, you will work with an editor to hone your writing skills, and you will receive monthly opportunities to publish your work — giving you clips and experience to add to your résumé.

This is a volunteer position, and the blogger will be expected to publish once per month. Candidates are expected to commit for one year. Priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated writing/reporting/blogging experience, but those of all writing levels are invited to apply.
