For a discussion on how open data can help personalize learning for every student

A study recent McKinsey Global Institute study found that using "open data" for education could "unlock" between $900 billion and $1.2 trillion in economic value every year.

Open data, the release of information that is already being collected by governments and private institutions, can help educators improve instruction and education technology companies enhance products in order to personalize learning for every student.

Please join the authors of this report, along with advocates and prominent education technology companies, to explore how open data can help improve our education system.

Participants:

  • Hudson Hollister, Data Transparency Coalition
  • Cecilia Retelle, RankU
  • Samantha Olivieri, GreatSchools.org
  • Jimmy Sarakatsannis, McKinsey Global Institute

Moderated by John Bailey, Digital Learning Now!

Please RSVP to kush.CO02intern@mail.house.gov

**This is considered a widely attended event – congressional offices and the general public are encouraged to attend**
