Recruitment Associate works collaboratively in a team environment to assure excellent service to central office and campus staff. The Recruitment Associate will manage the flow of candidates through the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to bring new employees on board. The Associate has the has 4 primary responsibilities: manage electronic job postings, screen applications and conduct phone screens, attend recruitment and education events, and provide backup support to the Associate Director, Talent Recruitment.

Essential Duties

·  Routinely process Vacancy Requisition Forms to initiate sourcing for campus instructional staff and Central Office vacancies.

·    Post position announcements accordingly on a daily or weekly basis to recruit highly qualified candidates.

·    Conduct a review of applications, resumes and other pertinent qualifying documents to determine applicant eligibility.

·    Schedule and conduct preliminary interviews with applicants using an established teacher selection model.

·     Update applicant files in Applicant Tracking System and meet regularly with Associate Director about to discuss candidate files.

·      Represent Center City at recruiting events, education open houses and symposiums, and at networking opportunities.

·     Track new hire credentials such as degrees, certifications and content-based exams (i.e., Praxis scores).

·     Assist with the coordination of Induction and Onboarding of new employees.

·    Coordinate substitute hiring to include recruitment, orientation and placement tracking. 

    Assist with other duties that support that Human Resources Team


Knowledge and Skills

·         Knowledge of the K-8 education environment and experience in an educational setting.

·         Requires effective oral, written and interpersonal skills.

·         Advanced computer literacy in the Windows environment: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook

·         Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, organize tasks in order to efficiently and effectively accomplish assigned and self-generated tasks

·         Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently

 

Education and Work Experience

·         Bachelor's degree in education, human resources or a related field from an accredited college or university.

·         Two to three years of teaching experience preferred, or any similar combination
