[dcab-l] DCBU cordially invites you to Return to The Red Fox Inn

All-

The DCBluegrass Union relives the golden era of the Washington, DC  bluegrass when the current members of the Seldom Scene reunite with original members Tom Gray and John Starling on October 20, 2013 for a special fund raising performance on the stage that was The Red Fox Inn.

For many years, The Red Fox Inn was the mainstay of the local bluegrass community,  regularly featuring some of the best that bluegrass music had to offer, including The Country Gentlemen (with Doyle Lawson and Jerry Douglas), Emerson and Waldron and The Bluegrass Cardinals.  The Seldom Scene emerged from a nearby jam session to start their illustrious run as DC's quintessential bluegrass band.

You are invited to join the DCBU and the current Seldom Scene including Ben Eldridge, Dudley Connell, Lou Reid, Fred Travers, Ronnie Simpkins for a sumptuous dinner and nostalgic performance when they are joined by original members Tom Gray and John Starling at the Positano Restaurante, the current occupant of the Red Fox Inn space in Bethesda, Md, as we return to the spirit and sounds that were The Red Fox Inn.

Space is regrettably limited to 100, so please visit the ticketing website: Return to the Red Fox Inn with the Seldom Scene and the DCBluegrass Union

You don't want to miss a historic night of great music, food, friends, stories and times.
